The workshop was super interactive and honestly changed how I think about design. The biggest thing that clicked for me is that everything starts with the user. Like, genuinely understanding who you’re designing for and what problems they actually have - not what you think they have. It sounds obvious but most people skip this step.

The AI part was mind-blowing. We got into how AI can personalize user experiences in ways that were unimaginable even a few years ago. Recommendation systems, predictive design patterns, understanding user behavior at scale - it’s all becoming part of design now. But the key takeaway is that AI is a tool to enhance human creativity, not replace it. The creativity and empathy parts still need to come from the designer.

What really stuck with me is how design is becoming this intersection of art, psychology, and technology. You need to understand user behavior and psychology, create beautiful interfaces, and now also understand how to leverage AI. It’s exciting but also kind of overwhelming in the best way possible.

They talked about practical design tools and workflows, and the importance of actually testing your designs with real users. User flows, accessibility, inclusive design - all of these things matter way more than just making something look pretty. This workshop definitely made me want to dive deeper into design and experiment with how AI can actually help create better user experiences.
